it's due to modern feminist narratives where men are the evil oppressors from whom every worse trait of humanity exists in whereas women are innocent victims who can do no wrong

no matter how much people try to preach equality, they simply don't uphold equality on a consistent basis

for example if a woman beats up a man, society makes fun of the man. if the man beats up the woman, society demonizes the man as a woman basher

today men are sandwiched between the conservative values of traditional masculinity and the progressive socialist equity of feminism which when mixed together create what can actually be referred to as real "toxic masculinity" basically the belief that men can't be victims and women can't be oppressors no matter what

this mixing of culture obviously has some disastrous, there's a reason why countries with multiple cultures within close proximity tend to have more chaos and instability than homogenous cultures

let's say traditional masculinity is orange juice and feminism is chocolate milk

both drinks are quite ok and tasty on their own but tastes disgusting when mixed together and the solution isn't to keep pouring more of each together

which is why most western men portray themselves as tough guys who are actually soft hence they are fake tough guys

for example, the fake tough guys who send death threats to Andrew Tate would not have the balls to actually try to assassinate him in a physical confrontation

Not sure if Fresh and fit is a good rolemodel but back to the question. I don´t think it´s misandrist, sure it´s effeminate but I don´t experience it to be man hating. I´d rather the West is confused about its values. The problem is that people have a problem accepting there are different between the sexes.
Instead of valuing the differences people try to deny the differences as best as they can. The West has turned into a society that is built on publicity and status and money.
The reason the West seems to go down is because people are confused about who they are, should be and want to be. I don´t think society is not more in favor of women than it is of men. We are living in a world where people turn insane and say it´s their right.
These people call everyone insane that is sticking what is understood as traditional gender roles and identities.

Because of 3rd wave feminism. It was allowed to hate men because women were oppressed. So it allowed women to basically emotionally abuse young men. Which reignited misogyny. Which ignited more misandry. Which allowed more misogyny to spread. Now we have a country with half of young men avoiding women and half of older women childless and alone.
