I imagine when they say “less attractive” they mean in the materialistic sense — 6ft with abs and a specific face type that lines up with the golden mask ratio. And yeah, some of the best guys I know are guys who are a little chubby, who don’t fit that conventional box. This is because men that aren’t in that bracket are not only aware of it but have time to think on it and are more likely to grow into better people than without it, and as a result are more attractive to a woman seeking a genuine connection instead of a materialistic one.

That's a great point. This study could be getting answers from chicks who aren't materialistic and shallow. So it's kinda a false positive.
