I’m 29F but I haven’t been told this since maybe my early twenties. And oddly enough, it was mostly from people that were close in age with me. They would talk about religion/politics etc or maybe I said something that made me seem naive & then they’d feel the need to correct me. in my opinion it’s condescending and can be uncalled for, just because you might know something I don’t doesn’t mean you’re knowledgeable in everything either. And you never know, I might know something that you don’t yet I don’t feel the need to point out you’re sheltered. And for one, everyone has different life experiences, how can you expect someone to know something they’ve never had to deal with? What’re your thoughts on people that are quick to come to this conclusion?
