This song is from the 1960's that is the kind of music about a marriage relationship back then that's what I grew up learing on. Have things changed?

It's amazing how different I learned from songs such as this wonderful song from Bobbi Martin. When I was 14 I typed the words out on a lovely piece of stationery and tapped it on the wall above my bed, because I didn't have a clue how to be with a man in a marriage. This song taught me how.
I know that social media has reinvented how to love a man since this song came out way back then, but I still believe the words in this song are a real way to love a man and be married.🩷

why "be aware"? isn't it normal we check on people we love? we look at them, we ask them, we hug them or leave them alone, it depends on the need... but why we have to be aware?

I can't imagine such relationship... for me partners are equal... and different in showing their care and affection... so being in the relationship is not about "serving"... it's about making this differences live together so both partners feel accepted and appreciated...

Can't find it in either list but I KNOW I've heard that chorus before!! seems to me, I heard it by The Brooklyn Bridge or Gary Puckett & The Union Gap.
I looked in every break-in in my list from Nov. `69 (when it came out) up to early `73 and can't find it mentioned anywhere! Guess I'll have to listen to them all to find it.

Men are looking to find a woman who isn't a social media cookie cutter
(all cut from the social media mold) woman and from what I hear from the guy's on GaG, they do desire women that well, grew up with theses values that are in this song.
They often wonder how the baby boomer generation stayed married for a lifetime together - some 70+ year's until death do them part as their wedding vows said.

I get messages from some of the guys on here telling me they wish there were more women like myself these days, but that there just aren't any.

I feel deeply heartbroken 💔 for these men that want to be in love 💞 and be loved in return and also get married and have their own little family. It's just not happening like it used to and that is a travesty!

I am so glad that you enjoy the songs I post on here - especially this one. It gives guy's an idea of how the women were at one time. So insight if you will

I'll have to try and find some more songs that touch people's hearts.💜
