Is it normal or should I be worried about my girlfriend because she wants to see me everyday?

We have been in love for 6 months, and we both work. I am working very hard these days. My girlfriend wants to meet almost every day. But the same is not true for me. I want to spend time individually, with my friends or family. How can I tell her this without hurting her?

Your words are wise! My former girlfriend from many years ago, had a very unhealthy clinginess. I could NEVER discuss it with her because she would either rationalize it or freak out. She eventually got into therapy but truthfully I don't think it did her any good. I was very glad to have got out of that relationship and I got my life back. I was in my early 30's at the time and learned a lot about what to avoid in the future.

Did you ask yourself why you are in this relationship? Do you intend for a long term relationship, like getting married?

If you're both in 40s, and her intention is marriage, then I don't think her behavior is weird. She doesn't wanna waste her time, she seems committed..

If you two have not had that discussion, about long term intentions, then it's time. 6 months is long enough to realize wether you wanna be with someone long term. If moving on together is not currently possible that's fine... But at the very least you should discuss what the intention is.

If you don't actually plan to stay with her long term, you should tell her sooner rather than later, or it will cause more problems and heartache.
