On average, when do you start loving a boyfriend/girlfriend?

We've been dating for 4 months but I would be lying if I were to say I've fallen in love with him. I like him a lot but nope, don't love him. I'm not badly infatuated with him either. We don't live together either.

Generally speaking, how much time (several months, a year, etc) does it take to get to the ''I love you'' stage?

True. I tend to be a different person that someone just saying ''I love you'' doesn't make me fall in love. I don't tend to follow the general ''women fall in love with their ears'' rule. For me it's more like I have to see consistent actions too and with given time, it works.
