I couldn’t tell you , I am not that type of guy , I been with girls’ that got distant after 3 months , so I guess it can go both ways. For any relationship to last, both parties have to give the same way they want to receive , if someone isn’t receiving and constantly giving , they will eventually walk to other way , once they realize they aren’t receiving the same in return. The key to having a long lasting relationship with someone is to learn how to remove selfishness , Pretty much every single one of us , has selfishness inside of ourselves , especially these days with social media warping our brains , that everyone is a cheater and everyone backstabs and betrays each other , making it harder for us to trust each other. So if you truly want to find love and have a long lasting relationship , you have to learn to remove selfishness for your partner , the same way you want them removing it for you , understand you can’t always be right and your partner is wrong , understand not everything can go your way. Love only grows when 2 people choose each other , over everyone else , if you want to be treated like a priority , you have to make your partner your priority as well , or your relationship will not last period. You should never choose anyone else over your partner , your friends’ and family should never come over your partner unless there was a tragic incident or emergency , Respect for each other goes a long way , if you can not respect your partner and wear their shoes the same way you want them to respect and wear your shoes as well , you are wasting your time thinking they aren’t going to walk the other way. Most relationships fail because of selfishness by thinking grass is greener on the other side. Instead, water the grass you are already standing on, and it will grow.

See you have to understand men or not that smart if they were to tell you look you know it's not going to work or blah blah they already know their role on how they're going to leave before they even get with you and if they could do it before 3 months they probably would and if you listen to them when they're talking and just listen when you're talking to you or anybody else you will see how many lies they tell in one sentence but they will say that one truth at the same time. If it if he honestly told you the truth it would make him look like dicks because it would be common sense that the whole thing was a setup and that they were using you anyway f*** those guys and don't get all pissed off about this step back look at it use it as a learning experience and then think the a****** for doing what he did because now you know how to read guys a lot better and you don't want to be with a guy like that anyway look at all the good things that you made happen and look at all the s***** things that he made happen you don't want to be with that type of guy anyway

There’s a number of reasons. One might be that it took him that long to realize you’re not the one. Maybe he thought he wanted a girl but changed his mind. The other thing is you women expect men to be like women. Meaning you’re caring, thoughtful, talk or text him a lot, do this, do that. But men aren’t really like that. That isn’t really normal for men. Men show affection by taking care of things, mainly financial. So just cause a man doesn’t think or act the way you do doesn’t mean he’s wrong. A lot of women tend to think that if you (women) think that way, then the men should think the same way as well or act the same way.

It probably took him a few months to realize that you two weren't right for each other and he pulled back. It takes me a couple months to figure it out too. In the beginning, everyone is putting their best foot forward, but then you get comfortable and the true self comes out.

I've probably had a dozen relationships that lasted two or three months and that's how long it took to see that the girl had one of the red flags. Sleeping with other guys, acting promiscuous with other guys, talking to exes, abusive behavior, dishonesty, desire to go clubbing, boring sexual behavior (rare), etc... are all things that made me withdraw early on. Do you have any of these red flags?

You are perfectly describing my ex-girlfriend. She literally became distant after three months and then she left. She was waiting until I would leave, but I chose love because I think it’s a decision for her. It was just a thrill or something. She wasn’t serious. She seemed very serious at first, but she did zero accountability for lying and expected me to trust her 100%. It’s pretty hard to trust someone who lies and deceitful. I guess that she thought I was a nice guy which I am until you do me wrong. I started setting boundaries and setting standards as she wanted to walk all over me. I didn’t let her so she left which is good but I made sure to tell her my boundaries early on, but still, it was an issue

Is this true for guys? I'm not so sure. Dating experts have often talked about how both men and women start to get over the "honeymoon phase" of each other in relationships after about 3 months. One girl I dated got over it in about 4 months, and after that point her interest rapidly declined while I was the one who got more and more interested in her.

most likely because the real person comes out, not their representative that you met.
Where at first going to the race track, drag races, tractor pulls was fun, now not so much.
It can take a while to get to know someone, the real person, and sometimes who they really are is too big of a difference than the person you met.
