Why don't women accept accountability when they make a mistake?

All women in my family will always deflect their responsibility and accountability for their actions when it's objectively their fault in the situation. Up to ending relationships and marriages to somehow have the moral superiority if they can muddy the minds of others to believe their made up lies about the person at hand. (He was a bad father and cheated, and hit me said my sister, even though it was my sister who in fact cheated and physically abused him, I know this because I called my sisters lie out in front of the family for trying to lie to get the upper hand in the situation... I've had another sister try to gouge my eyes out while she was shitfaced drunk while I was sleeping, and I had to bear hug her from a sound sleep to subdue her. Apparently she strained a muscle trying to get away from my grip and wanted to press charges against me, luckily her husband knew what was the truth of the matter and told her if she did that he would leave her; seriously I was just subduing a drunk in self defense who had viscous intentions of harming me and she thought that she could spin it to make me the bad guy). I know of countless other stories, and yet society gives a free pass in most instances. I'm sure to those reading this you have either been in similar situations or know of certain situations. For those of the fairer gender why does this happen?
