Are you the single type or feel you have to be in a relationship?

I used to be the single type but now I feel I have to be in a relationship since I have been in one for over a year.

Single all the way. Sometimes, I'd be open to mingle if the other person seems interesting enough (mingling in the sense that we can both talk, flirt etc. nothing physical or sexual) but rarely will I ever take things further with them or commit to anything superficial like that, especially if they don't feel the same way either.

I'll be 26 in April this year, and although something at the back of my mind keeps nagging at me (incl. my family who's also urging me to find someone and that I'm "getting old"), I'm still not sure I'm ready to give anyone a chance just yet, or anytime soon. If it happens, it happens. But for it to even happen in the first place, I'll have to make myself interested enough in the other person too.

At this point in my life , after all the shitty relationships i experienced, I am enjoying being single and doing my own thing for now , I am not against relationships but I am in no rush to be in one , I am kind of being really picky until I am willing to give my heart 100 percent again , Why I am enjoying FWB’s with some strings attached and taking time to really get to know each other before committing 100 percent to each other.

It feels much more fulfilling being in a relationship to me. Yes people can live alone, but I'm much more happy knowing there's someone to talk and rant to, be physically intimate, and share experiences with.

The few times it does get irritating is worth all the benefits of being in a relationship... at least if it's a healthy relationship.

I hardly think the two are mutually exclusive , if you are a person that " has " to be in a relationship this is extremely problematic , you are doing it for the sake of it , there are times when one needs to be on their own , to find some passions , to asses what they are doing , its not about " single type " or otherwise.

Single type. It's not that I'm against relationships. Far from it. But I think it's pointless to be with someone who doesn't really want to be with you, really want to share your lives. And since so few women want that it's best to remain single until you meet that person. Too many people today view dating as an extension of thier profile. Oh this is my job, this is my life, and oh this is who I'm dating (so you understand my value).🤦‍♂️

Definitely a single type, it’s been so long since I’ve actually talked to anyone like that. I don’t think I would even know what to do tbh… I’ve come to the conclusion that I’d enjoy having cats and lots of smut books with a side of coffee. Seems more peaceful.

I was single for a long time in life. I prefer a relationship. That being said if I found myself single now I would have to consider impact on my kids so any reaptionship would be a slow burn and would have to fit around them
