Is it normal for me to feel weird about the fact that my hubby calls me "mommy" outside bedroom?

Ever since out child started saying "mamma", my hubby too calls me that with our son, just in playful manner and it makes me feel weird because it's a bedroom thing for me... I sometimes call him "daddy" and he calls me "mommy" just to tease one another...

I dont even know how to talk to him about this without making it weird...

it’s weird that it bothers you , He is just doing it because your child calls you that. My wife and I use to say it as well for the kids’ I am not going to tell my kid to go talk to ( name) , I am going to say go talk to Mom or Mommy and she would say Go see Dad or Daddy. So he is mainly doing it for kid. It would be weird if he was calling you Mommy instead of your first name if you and him were alone or out together without your kid , then yes that would be weird lol

If you have kids, that's normal. It not, bit weird but if you both like it, don't suppose it matters.

I don't think you are gonna get out of this without feeling a little weird. Either you try to get use to it, or you bring it up to him

Well, if you have kids usually everyone's names revert to whatever the kids call you. "Mom"/"Dad"/"Gran"/etc..

I'd personally me more concerned if he was calling you mommy INSIDE the bedroom. Smh...
