Mechanic says my Honda fit is ruined because of corrosion and he can fix the spark plugs? Wife thinks it is bs and he just doesn't want to fix?

  • I bought the car in October. It's not that old. It keeps flashing and not going over 60.

My wife has driven it so has my brother and said they had no problem. they think I had it in the wrong gear. I would never do that.

I took it to one mechanic who said nothing is wrong with the car. My current mechanic said the engine and everything is connected close to the spark plugs and the bolts are too rusty and he doesn't know if can get them off. He said it's a very dangerous circumstance. He could ruin the engine and everything in the car because of the bolts being rusty. We might have to get a new car. He is going to have to charge extra because it's so dangerous.

I ended up crying screaming and smacking and punching the couch because I am so depressed about the car. My wife told me me to stop doing that and stop arguing with her. That I was scaring her. Why would it scare her that I punched the couch. She was sitting on? That I need to get someone else to work on the car. She isn't freaking out about the car. She should be totally freaking out and yelling about the car.

My wife doesn't like the mechanic. He wouldn't tell her how much it would be to fix her car that it would be a surprise and that she would be without the car for a few weeks. she ended up having her cousins best friend do it for three hundred.

So it this normal? I can't stop freaking out. I did hang out with my ex wife. Yesterday. We argued and bitched about potholes together. We both screamed we are going to die going over a speed bump.

My current wife said something In Spanish. She would not say what. She took us all over. I don't think my current wife was too happy. She wants to get a rental. But my ex wife is free. She said nothing the whole trip.

There are other people willing to do it. That say it's no big deal. But I don't want to be disloyal to my mechanic.

I was up all night staring at the ceiling talking to myself. I really don't want to buy a new car over spark plugs. My wife slept in the pool house.
