Girls, would you date a guy like me (if not, why)?

27-year old PhD student in Math/Theoretical Physics. Apart from academic, I read and collect a lot of books, mostly a classics/history/sci-fi lover. But they are a lot and in different languages ( 5 languages). I write poetry/short stories that get published in small journals. I love drawing, pottery, and playing violin, hiking. Picked up pottery in UG but have been drawing since nursery, now can draw in pencils/pastels/watercolor/oil. My studies have always been more pen-and-paper based, so gardening is kind of my experimental playing field. I can do grafting and cross-breeding to create different flower patterns/colors. I came from a not-so-affluent family, so I had to learn housework from a young age. After 18, living in different uni towns in different countries, I had to be self-reliant in everything. I greatly enjoy cooking and baking (and love feeding friends), having done them for over a decade now. At uni, you tend to meet different people from all over the world. Over the years, I have picked up and perfected hundreds of recipes from all over the world. Last Sunday cooked Chicken fricasse and Lasagna, had a house party. Italian guy seemed to love the lasagna.

Girls, would you date a guy like me (if not, why)?

I always make an effort to be fit and active, go to the gym, and ride my bike. Always loved animals, and did years of volunteering in animal shelters in different cities, we managed to save and find shelters for so many abandoned and sick animals. However, I struggle in relationships. So far never had a girlfriend. Girls always seem to choose other types of guys. Everyone I know my age or younger always has/had one or multiple relationships throughout the years, and I get comments like,"Guys like you are only good after thirty". All the other guy friends seem to have girlfriends who love them crazily. I don't know; it feels like love is more truthful when you are young, people like you for who you are, not for your career or what you have, and as you get older, people just settle for convenience.
