In free time foster kittens and puppies , cannot take you to expensive restaurants. A part of my fellowship goes to animal rescue. I didn't have much friends ever and most were very mean to me , I always find more peace among animals.

Don't worry about not having a girlfriend before. It's okay. Everyone is different and their journey is different. Although I hope you try to make a friend or two because having good friends in life also brings contentment and peace as much as animals and partner does.
My luck isn't much good with friends , with females there's a lot of taking advantage cases and they laughed at me or my hobbies among others , women consider those hobbies as girly. With men , there's a lot of jealously and betrayal. Last time I have saved some from a bar fight and even took punches for them , however they ghosted me afterwards.
However I am very natural with animals , they love me , even the most feisty and angry cats and dogs get calm with me.
Not earning money as per other guys of my age is a serious deal breaker for non academic women. You say that don't worry about having no one before but it's also a major deal breaker for women that I had gone date with before. They started to behave weird after I had told them about having no previous relationships and then ghosted after first date.
I don't know whether I will ever find someone. Actually I have spend so much time alone without almost anyone's help , sometimes I don't feel like need for anyone.
