Does every one use different types of sarcasm?

I noticed with me that a lot of sarcasm I get but then it’s a a lot of sarcasm that goes over my head. It makes me wonder if most people have different ideas of what sarcasm is. Which makes it easier to understand and catch some sarcasm and not other types of sarcasm.

Yes sarcasm can be individual. Like many times even here on gag I’ll reply to a sarcastic question in a sarcastic manner, and rarely does the asker realize it. Everyone has their own perspective and can be varying levels of sarcasm if they wanna express it

True. My type of sarcasm is more of a “Duhhh” “Isn’t it obvious” kind of sarcasm with a bit of wittiness but not everyone’s sarcasm is like that. So I noticed at least. Other sarcasm I might not catch until seconds after the person said it and then I’m like “Ohhh.” 🤣

So true. I’ll miss some sarcasm and then feel silly. But that’s ok, no one is perfect. And ya, some witty banter makes sense as well
