My old assistant manager tried to throw me under the bus. I'd worked with her for years, and really respected her until she stabbed me in the back. One of the women on our management team, let's call her Ann, who was her friend outside of work, got in some major trouble after a GALA our facility hosted for some wealthy donors. They were pisssssseeeeeed. Rule number one at that job, you.don't.piss.off.the.money! They wanted heads to roll and instead of Ann taking responsibility for her screwing the event up, she said I did it. When I went to the AM with this crazy story and wanted her to do something about it, she willingly decided she too was going to throw me under the bus to protect Ann. I was LIVID! I'm a chill person, I don't anger easily, but when people are disloyal like that and lie about my character, it pushes all my buttons. On top of that, once the director found out, she very clearly wanted to fire me which I did not take kindly to. Unfortunately for these dumb dumbs, I didn't even work that evening, and the fingerprint sensor and the security cameras confirmed that in about 2 seconds. Ann gets fired same day and her other work friend who found out what she did dumped her as a friend, and became my friend. Karma, number 1, down. Karma number 2...a few days later, we get a phone call at work. It's the AM's husband's mistress whom she didn't know was a thing, calling in to tell her, that her husband has been cheating on her for an entire year, and that she had had an abortion. She wanted the AM to know what kind of man she had and how awful he was. It was apparent that God, did not like ugly indeed.
I have no idea. I give no thoughts to those that have wronged me. Furthermore, I simply move on with life.

Ah, the sweet dance of karma! 😏 Yes, I have been wronged a few times. In one particularly dramatic episode, I lent my "trustworthy" friend a considerable sum of money. Instead of repayment, I got the Houdini special: they ghosted me. Well, love, not too long after, their oh-so-perfect job fell through. Sometimes, karma works swiftly and silently, delivering justice when you least expect it.
