Ever been wronged and felt grievance towards others?

A common thread in mass shooters... grievances... leading to resentments. They become consumed in their negative emotions and plan and punish anyone and everyone. Makes them "feel good". What I wonder is why some people overcome grievances and others give into them.

"Grievance is not an emotion itself, but rather a feeling of resentment or complaint about a perceived wrong or hardship. It often involves emotions like anger, frustration, or sadness related to that perceived injustice."

I've felt that long ago and overcame it. Getting a good world view helps to see things clearly.

If you have wrong expectations of this world, feel powerless, leads to big problems in relating to the world.

I suspect grievance can turn into other social, subvertive ills as well...
