Did it matter to you and/or your partner what gender your firstborn will be?

When you were in pregnancy did you or your partner had a wish for a boy/girl to be a firstborn, or all you wanted it to be is healthy?

There was no partner and I wasn't all that excited about even having a firstborn at that time in my life. I however continued on with the pregnancy and all I can say is every woman had that opportunity when in doubt hold that newborn in her arms, abortion would be almost extinct without the fucking government sticking their fucking snob noses into the process. Turns out it was a girl and best thing to happen to me and a huge wake up call. She is now a 2nd year student at University of Florida in Tallahassee.

Not in the slightest... All we hoped for that they were born healthy... Until I gave birth, neither did we know what we were having... Thankfully we have both a son and daughter, both born extremely healthy and thriving.

Yes, and no. I was partial to a boy, because I'm a boy, and I wanted to be able to enjoy the some of the same things I enjoy, together, with him.

I was also terrified of having to fix my daughter's hair or clothes, or all that other stuff. In fairness, I have 6 nieces, love them all to death, would not have mattered in the end.
