1 yOh man. I won’t say good looking. I’ll say looking the best that I can be.
And I won’t say rich. I never had a goal to reach X level of wealth. That just came as a side benefit of taking on risk that others wouldn’t and finding out I really enjoyed the challenge and the sense of accomplishment. The money came with it.
LOL, I grew up lower middle class. My dad was military. I went from being a high school kid in jeans and a t-shirt to a military university where we wore uniforms every day to the Army where I generally ran around in dirty BDU’s all the time.
So when I left the Army and slid directly into Fortune 100 and Wall St., I had to go from 0 to 60 in zero seconds. I had no clue about suits and ties and dress shirts and Oxford shoes and cashmere overcoats. It was fun for me. So I got into learning how adult males should groom, dress, and carry themselves in a professional environment. Along the way I learned about watches, hairstyles, colognes, blazers, sport coats, etc. I just try to look my best in every situation.
As for the money, that sort of took care of itself. I was able to (semi) retire at 50 after two careers. I stay active in deals but now I can pick and choose who I want to work with, when, and where.

I will not stay with a girl that is just after money that doesn’t want to work as a team , but I will stay with a girl that stays by my side and wants to work as a team by having each others’ backs. My money becomes her money and vice versa. Never get into a relationship with someone that is only with you for their benefit , You will be wasting your time thinking they actually love you , they just love using you. Users are selfish people that have no dignity or respect for anyone but themselves , they will leave you in a heart beat when they find their next best opportunity, making you realize you were used and not loved period

1 ySo I can get back at the sluts who rejected me, yet cried to me when their girlfriends treated them like shit. Their male genes and their male brain KNOW which woman that will hurt them, yet they CHOOSE her over a partner that they KNOW will treat them better.

1 yThat’s a very shallow goal. I strive to better myself intellectually and emotionally. But I guess people who have that goal do it because being hot and rich is glorified as a means to happiness.

Ah, the quest for riches and good looks! It's often about the allure of confidence and the freedom money brings. While outer beauty can help you catch an eye, remember, relationships are truly built on heart and humor. Riches might buy you luxury, but love and laughter? Priceless! 😉 The key is balance: aim for personal growth, genuine connections, and a happiness that isn't defined by your wallet or mirror.

1 yI think I'm average in physical attraction, but I try to keep my appearance looking decent. We're only young once. Each passing year, your looks fade a little more after a certain age. Looking back at myself, I want to see myself as someone who put effort into it rather than someone who didn't care, because whether people like it or not, appearance matters. It's part of how we choose our partners. It affects people's perceptions of us and the opportunities we get.
As for wealth, I'm simply aiming for a higher standard of life and to be able to provide for my family to an extent. I don't need luxuries. But I think I have the same motivation as others... loved ones.
10 Reply 382 opinions shared on Relationships topic. Boredom.
If I’m being dead honest. It’s boredom.
Rich or poor we all die the same death.
Some people use that knowledge as a reason not to do much
I use it as motivation by saying “why not have all the experiences and try everything while we’re here”
(There are exceptions of course, many things I don’t wanna experience first hand)
But being good looking and having money to offer myself and my family leisure is something I do aspire for
It beats punching a clock everyday on the hamster wheel to nowhere10 Reply562 opinions shared on Relationships topic. To be able to impress @thegreenyogi 😉😊
Seriously being rich isn't a goal I have ever sought, famous nope, attractive (would be nice to be taller and have better eyesight or younger forever) but it's never been a huge draw to change who I am. Having AMBITIOUS goals or a direction to go with someone is appealing but that's not the question.

1 yI'm definitely good looking without much effort from my side... and I hate to be in the spotlight so it never was my goal...
also being rich never was my goal... money is a tool... not a goal... my goal was to secure my kids future... and I've achieved it...
so... I don't strive every day for those... but I live every day... I enjoy it... I build memories and relations with people...

Anonymous(45 Plus)1 yI did strive for it and achieved it. You can’t become good looking though, at least as a guy who doesn’t wear makeup. You are either tall or not for starters. But you can dress well and look sharp. Why did I want money? Independence. People are shits and will step on you if poor or in need of a favor, this is from my early experiences as a teenager.
So the drive for independence, and therefore money, is driven by the fact that people suck if you need help. So being in a state of dependence is not where I want to be.

1 yI'm a good looking person who financially gets along well enough.
My profession has me in touch with ''rich'' people on a regular base.
For myself I see no reason to get where they are.
Fair enough? - for others: yes, why not?
Why: what THEY get isn't taken from ME.

and NOTHING is as good as that.10 ReplyThat has never been a goal in my life. Even when I opted for a career at the age of 17. I could have picked other careers with better financial prospects. I think I'm doing fine and made all the right choices.
10 Reply10.2K opinions shared on Relationships topic. I never cared for money. As long as I have the money to pay the bills and buy the things I want, I am more than happy. Anything extra is just a bonus.

As far as being rich, there's a line in a song by the band Silverchair. "You say that money isn't everything / but I'd like to see you live without it". Like it or not, money is power. With enough money you can get almost anything you want in this life.

1 yI do not think there is much value in being rich. Being poor is awful. But being comfortable is fine. There are times I could have pursued money. I found interesting work to be more valuable to me.
