I would rather communicate like a adult. Now being more lighthearted sure that’s different. But once people have comminuted long enough they can start to read one another to know what someone wants/needs before they say anything. But it takes time

Not hints. No. I think hints are about the same as laying traps for him to fall into. lol But I definitely throw a lot of curve balls to keep things alive and entertaining. He never knows what to expect next and often his head is spinning as he chases me around the house.

do you actually say if you are frustrated and why?
for example, you finish washing the floors and he comes in stomping with his shoes on so you point out that the floor is just cleaned and you work full time and go to school full time so it’s not your highest priority to be doing that every day. and you ask him to take his shoes off outside and he goes okay

one week later, the floor is washed again. he comes in at the door and makes like he’s taking his shoes off. you meet him at the door on your way out, say see you tonight all the nice things and kiss and go on your way. you realize you forgot your phone, so come back inside 2 minutes later and he is stomping all over the flo with his shoes on.
