Girls, Looking To Fall In Love with my wife?

Hi. Im a 52 yr old man who has been married for over 5 years. I have a very uncommon problem. I get mostly all the sex I want but i do not get any romance on my marriage. I admittedly have never fallen in love with my wife nor has she fallen in love with me.

I miss the feeling of being lost in love with someone. I miss having butterflies. And I dont think my wife is emotionally available for that. Its led to my feeling that our relationship has no base, no substance. I feel we are more roomates than lovers. How can I change this?

The first question that pops up is:

Why did you marry in the first place? Was it just because of the fornication? If yes, it was definitely not a wise choice. If it was a marriage of convenience, then you are also paying the price for it now.

For something to change, both have to want the change. Love is not just a one-way street. Trying to put romance in your marriage is probably not going to lead anywhere if your wife is not receptive to romantic gestures, cuddling or simply just holding hands.

Your best bet would probably to seek the help of a marriage counselor but both have to want to make a change. Otherwise, it is a waste of money. If your spouse is satisfied with simply being a roommate, then you either accept it or then you seek romanticism elsewhere but with the knowledge and approval of your spouse.

Fornication was part of the decision.. pressure from the church and family tio marry. I carry some of the responsibility for settling. I just really didn't think there were woman out there who didn't want romance. Now i know.

There's many things you can do, like go out on dates. Write letters to each other. Plan romantic dates etc

Poor woman? My wife is treated like a queen. Very little to no need of hers goes unmet.
