I haven’t asked a question in here in a while but what should I should i surprise my boyfriend with for our 4 year anniversary? I thinks got plans but I don’t want him to do it all I don’t wanna get him just anything, but I know things he wants, but I feel like they would be more appropriate gift for like his birthday not our anniversary and I’m all new to this and this is the longest relationship I’ve ever been in

The "traditional" 4th anniversary gift would be fruit/flowers, symbolizing a "budding relationship".

So many choices - so little time!

I like the idea of some sort of feature planting in your yard if you own your property. Fruit and flowers is nice for anyone, but they will be gone in short order, hopefully unlike the relationship which you should want to nurture for the long-term. Maybe make that tree a dwarf apple. Peonies or roses would be a good florals, in for the long haul. (We still have peonies that we transplanted from my parents' yard, so they are about 58-60 years old now. )
