My boyfriend and I have been dating for a year. We usually see each other every 3-5 days because of my schedule. Usually when we go for a week or more without seeing each other because of vacations or something else, we talk at least once or twice a day. But usually when it’s 3-5 days we take a day or two break from talking. My boyfriend likes in person interactions better than texting. Is that normal or should we be talking everyday? I don’t have a lot of relationship experience.

Once upon a time before the time of text, it was common to see one another pretty much daily or at least call one another if that wasn’t possible. Today is a different landscape.
