I was homeless by choice with someone I loved, for what it's worth. It was a money-saving move and worked out well. We weren't on drugs or pushing shopping carts, just had an RV and worked to save every penny. But, I was technically homeless. It was a little nerve-wracking not being sure where I would end up in three months, but it worked out. I know I could do it again, no problem.

The caveat is, I wouldn't stay there because if that's the case, there's a problem with how money is being managed and priorities are being set, honestly.

There's so much I could do like help out the homeless and children who are starving in the world being with someone rich. I would prefer to be doing good in the world. I may be sacrificing my heart but it would be for the greater good.

If you do not take care of yourself FIRST and foremost, you cannot take care of anyone else. That is a basic tenet of living. You can volunteer and help the homeless. Save a little money paycheck to paycheck and donate to Save the Children and other groups like that.

Times are hard. I've struggled all my life. I've been dirt poor. If you know what it's like to be dirt poor, you may understand. We had to steal water from our neighbors hose just to clean ourselves when I was a kid. Definitely not fun. I don't ever want to struggle like that again. Love is nice but being poor is not the life I would want to go back to.
