Advice on how to talk to someone and I am not sure of their age?

There is a girl I really find attractive in my mall's Bubble Tea Shop, however I do not know her age and I am in my 20's. I do not want to look like a creep so I am not sure how to approach this situation, if it was a common workplace like a School or a Job I would feel more confident.

Also since I am customer and she is working I feel this makes the environment more complex. I can't just hold the line to talk to them and I do not want to look weird waiting to just talk to them with no one is around. I would normally pass up on a situation like this but I feel like trying to talk to them. I just need help on how to go about it.

Since you placed your question under the "Relationship" topic, I do assume that you are primarily interested in getting into her pants but you don't know how to tell her by fear of rejection I presume.

It will definitely come as creepy because we all know what the ultimate motive is when a total stranger approaches us women for something that is not work related.

You have to take the plunge and ask her how old she is. You can only get 2 possible replies. Either she gives you her approximate age or she tells you that it is none of your business but in either case, she will know what you ultimately want from her.

Thank you for replying, yea I would want to begin a relationship with them because I really want to get to know them not only because of wanting to be intimate. However as you mentioned once you ask that question they know immediately you like them, I just have to overcome that fear of rejection if I decide to do it.

You seem to be weighing your own desire to talk to this girl against your fear about what she and others will think about you.

All I can say is just give it a shot. I think it is fair enough that you are unsure of her age. You could always just tell her she is cute and ask for her number. Then ask her out on a casual date like coffee or whatever.

As long as you figure out her age before kissing her or sleeping with her, you should be fine.

When the store isn't busy, try to strike up a light conversation; ask where she went to school or something. If she's a Junior in HS better leave that alone.

Thank you for commenting! Maybe it best I do try to talk to them fast but I just think if I ask a question like that she knows I like them instantly, I feel it dont look casual lol But the only way to know is to ask
