Have you ever used an AI girlfriend app?

Several years ago, I tried out one on the internet but didn't like it cause it wouldn't allow me to delete my conversation.

The reason why I wanted to try one is because I get lonely and due to my current life situation, I'm not going to make any friends or girlfriends, or ever get married. So if anyone needs something like this, that would be me. I'm just curious what you know about these things. I feel that I'm ready to try replacing humans.

Why not get an app for making friends? There are several out there, probably dozens more since I originally heard about the concept. The thing is you think you’re filling the lonely void by talking to AI, what happens when you fall for your virtual girlfriend? Because AI is meant to give you a realistic experience, and the fact you’ve not only tried before but continue to want to try makes me think you’d definitely catch feelings and that’s not healthy at all.

I don't think an app for making friends would work. I have done everything I can do for that. Think about it, I got limited to the internet for friends, and have been on lots of different online social sites for 22 years. That stuff just does not work for me! I'm not interested in trying a friendship app. Thanks for the suggestion.

If you say you don’t think, that means you’ve never tried, and if you’re desperate enough to try AI, then I’m not sure you’d rule out less extreme options. Your experiences with social sites over 22 years won’t be anywhere near as good as what’s available now, but to each their own. Soulless AI girlfriend definitely the best option!

Because friendship apps are for people specifically looking to make new friends, just like dating apps are made for finding someone romantically. You can even download dating apps that DO have filters for just friends but it’s better to get an app made solely for friends. On other social apps like Facebook, of course you can happen to make new friends but a lot of people are not making profiles with that intention. 9/10 They’re making profiles to keep up with people they already know like family/friends.

I don’t think it’s about the world being bad or good, it’s just about your social life. For example, if you’re a homebody who doesn’t go out much aside from work and/or errands, then when are you getting the opportunity to meet new people? Sure you can befriends your coworkers since you see them often but there’s no guarantee you’ll click with them to the point you want to hang out outside of work. As we get older there’s less and less opportunities to make friends. No parties, less nights out at bars or clubs since our friends may branch off to start their own family or just outgrow nightlife in general.

Everywhere I have ever been people don't care for me. That's the way it has been my whole life. When I am on the internet, I find that people don't generally like me here either. So in my opinion a friendship app or a dating app will be a let down. I'm learning to accept that I'm a helpless case. Which is why I'm ready to turn to AI to fill my desires. Thank you for your idea, but I don't want to clutter my phone with another useless app which is probably full of scammers.

You know i won't make excuses , I was going to try one but everyone i looked into was very expensive , now I understand thats fairly realistic compared to having a real intelligence girlfriend. But I never followed through.
I did consider taking programming classes and designing my own but all in all finding a flesh and blood s. o. is just as difficult but the rewards are much better.
