Before I left home I made a concerted effort to find a partner I wanted children with, and an ideal home we could all live our lives in.
I give myself an adequate time line, and I think I came very close for my dream to become reality.
Since then I've lived happily alone, but there is no way I'd pick this way through choice, and I wouldn't recommend this way for anyone else.

  I hear what you're saying. But I'm not sure if you know that I had a boyfriend from December 2017 - September 8, 2023, until he died suddenly.
  We were living together for the past year and a half when he died.
  I'm in a place where I am still grieving Patrick and have no desire to be with another man.
  Patrick was one of a kind. I have never met anyone like him before in my entire life.
