Yes, and I have no shame in it!
I work 5 days a week, 40 hours a week in a job that forces me to be fairly social... which as an introvert, is VERY draining to me mentally and emotionally, even though I enjoy said job.
Add to that, I'm fairly active as I exercise 5-6 days a week, every morning. So yes, I get out and move as need be. But I'm happiest at home alone doing absolutely nothing. It allows me to recharge and have my "me time" so I can tolerate people, or when I'm forced to go out and be social. Plus being at home just resting and doing nothing is really nice.
I'm an introvert too. I work longer shifts so I can have more days off. Being around people everyday majority of the day is too much
I said yes. I am a homebody however I have travelled extensively, to all 7 continents and literally around the world. I just returned from a 10 day trip which took me thousands of miles and had me in a different hotel every night. I already have reservations for another trip late this year and will likely take one between now and that trip.
When home during the interim, I am at a comfortable home with great views but I still travel to nearby areas for the day a fair bit of the time (like yesterday). I am a bit of a mix but I am a homebody at heart with a deep need for adventure and travel.
I've already seen the world and don't see the point. My wife has this stupid drive to be involved in the bullshit... I don't understand why. What for? There is nothing to gain from out there. But for some reason, that is what's normal to her. Even though I'm the one that easily adapts to the outside world and she is a social retard. WTF? Just why? Why have such a drive to be a part of something you suck at doing?
I just want to chill. These people can go fuck each other for all I care. Not my problem.
🤣🤣🤣
kind of sort of. I do like going out to things like ice cream, the grocery store, or just do things like walks. Being home most of the time means I'll want to go out or do things with people more at least.

I have pretty severe social anxiety and am a true introvert so I tend to prefer being in places I am comfortable. I am also single, so I don't really have anyone I want to go out with. I have friends, but they're usually busy and it just isn't the same as experiencing something with a significant other
I'm kinda terrified to go out thanks to my introverted ways and my agoraphobia, so I'm definitely a homebody. I much more prefer staying home, playing games and just hiding from the world.
That's very sad. You're missing out :(
I know, but I have a lot of self hatred issues to work through before I'll ever feel comfortable going out.
Ah shit. I'm sorry. What kind? How long has this been going on?
I kinda hate being home. I don't feel productive when I'm at home it's stuffy, it gets boring. And I kinda do that on purpose because I'm just so much more productive when I'm literally just about anywhere else
yes once work is done, i love being home, its my safe place lol
More or less retired so I hang around at home a lot, puttering around with my many projected projects.
@exitseven On a movie screenplay. That takes a lot of time and thought. When my mind becomes cluttered I come here to have it cluttered in other ways. 😜😝🤢
@exitseven Yes, not as good without the original actors.
@exitseven Who knows? It could have been a good sequel. Did you ever see The Hollywood Knights? I thought it was pretty funny.
Yeah. Why? Because I'm cheap!😆 My sister wanted me to go to Vegas with her. I said there's a casino a couple miles away from where I live. If I wanted to gamble I'd go there. And I could lose money just as easily and more cheaply there. And she's like we can see Boulder dam. And I'm like I can see Boulder damage on the internet.
If I REALLY want to do something I will. But I'm a cheap date. And it doesn't take spending a ton of money most the time to make me happy.
Yep.
Have social anxiety and all my stuff is at home.
I am a homebody, more so all of the time.
I'd love to go fishing, but Long COVID as well as other ailments have done their work on me.
Ohh its not a yes/no answer I reckon -- Maybe , I love my Thai home , and spend much time there.
Yeah strongly... Cause I spend the most of my time at home
Yep.
I like having alone time and being somewhere comfortable.
Yes, because playing video games, watching anime, drawing, making music, writing, building things, petting cats, etc.
I'm not sure what a "homebody" is. I like staying at home. I also like going out.
Yes, Now that I am older I like to stay home a lot more.
I totally am. I get uncomfortable with too much interaction with other people.
Ehh, I can be. However, I prefer getting out and doing things. 😌
Yes I love being at home, I feel safe and peaceful there
Basically yes. Whilst the nature and parks do get my time, and even pubs and restaurants and alike, being at hime with someone to love's a dream.
No, but only because I have a kick ass shed outside of my home. Some have entered, many have left without saying a word at all..
Naturally no but these days yes. I'm just tired after work and the gym and just want to sleep.
Didn't you do enough of that in high school? 💤😴💤
I enjoy being outside more just to do stuff with friends.
Yes, but I didn't use to be this way.
