My partner is struggling to find a job which means I might need to pull out of a trip with my 2 other friends is this a bad thing to do?

Oh it’s already paid for, I didn’t realize that. In that case I’d say go on the trip but to have a fixed budget. I don't know when the trip is but if you have a bit of time then start putting money aside now if you haven’t already started doing that.

Yes but they are suggesting expensive activities to do aswell and I also have my partners family to visit at new years who live abroad it’s all getting too much I didn’t realise at the time
