I definitely enjoy cuddling on the couch watching TV, and holding my girl when I sleep (MUCH more enjoyable this time of year and almost impossible in the summer in California).

30 years ago, I delivered pizza at a busy pizzaria, and there were 8-10 girls who worked the front counter and dining room (4 on weeknights and 5 or 6 on Friday and Saturday nights), and my arrival greetings evolved from saying Hi to hugging and eventually to the running and jumping hug. After nearly 5 years, I finished my college program and got a "real" job in IT and for a couple of years, I had pizzas delivered, so I didn't go in the store. Then, 3 or 4 years later, a buddy wanted to go grab pizza, so we go, and all of the counter girls working are new and don't know me. We put in our order, get our drinks and make our way to the dining room. A couple minutes later I hear my name being loudly squeezed and a 90 pound blonde girl is sprinting towards me and leaps into a bear hug, her feet about a foot off the ground. It was nearly a minute before she let go.

My buddy Mark thinks it's the funniest thing ever and laughs so hard he damn near hurt himself. It was, of course, one of the old counter girls I used to work with. She didn't work there any more either, but she came in to pick up a pizza, and when she saw me, well, old habits die hard.

I really like when I have feeling I should say something to a stranger and they tell me it was exactly what they wanted/needed to hear. Im not so big on physical touch. So That to me is like your big hug when you reunite with someone. Except, im minding hugging someone I forgot I knew. Its like deja vu , mixed with love , mixed with the surprise of trying something new for the first time... I really enjoy that connected to everything feeling.
