Lots honestly. And it's part of the reason why it's so hard to find a compatible partner.

For me, compatibility is about similarities. Not being opposites. I want a partner with similar views, similar interests, a similar sense of humor, aligning goals, sexual compatibility, etc.

Views encompass so much. Religion, politics, core values, way of thinking, etc. The more we agree on, the less conflict there will be.

When it comes to interests, yes men and women are different, so I don't expect them to have all the same interests. But I do want to be able to enjoy talking about and doing things together. And the more interests we have in common, the more that we'll enjoy together. I love nature trails, hiking, camping, kayaking, and a lot of outdoor related stuff. I enjoy staying fit. There are certain shows I like that I'd like my partner to enjoy as well. And I enjoy talking about a lot of things, so it would be nice if they enjoyed that too.

Then there's sense of humor. If my partner doesn't find the same things funny and vice-versa, the relationship is dead in the water.

Goals aligning is important because I want to eventually live off grid. If they don't see themselves living off grid, then that relationship is a no-go.

And finally sexual compatibility. Sex matters in a relationship and everyone has their own kinks. If your partner doesn't match you sexually, and has no desire to fulfill your desires, then the relationship will easily die.

Ultimately its all about being extremely compatible with each other, I truly want to love her for who she is so I want her to have the traits I love and I also aspire to have those traits myself. So someone who I have a lot in common with.
