Girls, Guys, Writing on the wall?

10 years long distance. (brief breakup) 16 years total. Self employed in diff state where we both once lived. I moved after break up. He looked me up. Reconnected and he bought us a home in my state. Asked me to leave my job & make a life w him. I was reluctant to give up my independence. He pressed the age issue “he wasn’t getting any younger” & wanted to start his life. The goal was to hand the co. to his adult son, retire & come home. He provided a very comfortable life for me &my teen son. We aren’t rich but money isn’t a real problem. Goal retirement date has come & gone. His son isn’t ready to take over. My son is now working on his Masters and my boyfriend is still not here. Commuting isn’t cutting it anymore being in a situationship for 11 years and feeling alone is getting to me. I’m 50, he’s 62. Engaged for 3 (I think he was tired of everyone asking him when it was going to happen.) can’t even begin to discuss actual marriage without an argument. I don’t even want it anymore. Clearly, it’s an issue for him. I've told boyfriend we should travel and work on us. I’ll be happy with weekend Getaways to start. Always cited Scheduling conflicts w his business. I expressed how that made it difficult to plan for anything. He comes home for about a week and a half a month and then returns to work. We speak multiple times a day. On occasion, I travel to him, but we’d rather spend time together at our mutual home. 3 years ago he reconnected with an old male high school friend, who is extremely wealthy. Owns a plane, pays for fine dining and , golf trips for his guys friends in different states. This guy is married but what I can see not happily. boyfriend miraculously, can adjust his schedule to except these guy golf trips, & travel w/ said friends. I gave him space, 3 years is more than to get it out of system. He admits he flex’s for those trips and not for me. Defensive, and always defer to the “comfortable life” I have and “it’s never enough. Time to walk away?
