Do you think people go their whole life without being in a relationship?

Not necessarily by choice but because of lack of good looks, not confident aswell as other stuff.

I'm 38 and never been in a relationship but this question isn't about me.

It's more I'm wondering if there are others who have gone through life maybe to like a mature elderly age without a relationship, dating maybe but not a long or even short relationship

I've only been in one real relationship at the age of 31 to 32. And I would honestly say it's not for the weak of heart if you break up. It can be traumatizing for a while and just downright depressing and I sometimes wish I never had been in one because the pain of losing that person was devastating. I think for people who never get into a relationship and are content with it, I honestly envy them a bit.

The first one always hits the hardest. It took me a long time to get over that one. Still, odds are, each person will. have several relationships before finding a permanent partner.
