Sometimes i miss when my ex used to come to gigs with me. She became a pretty decent photographer. And she used to take notes for meetings.

Wed get dressed up and talk about every which way the day could go.

Cooking on snow days. She used to yell at me for pouring too much beer into the corned beef brine.

And how many nights shed wake me up just to talk about nothing and if i tried to pretend i was still asleep shed clock me in the head.

then there was the time we were flat broke and she was supposed to pick me up from work but she got a panic attack in the rain on the way over so she made me stay on the phone with her thebwhole time.

i think its more about the color of moments you have with someone.

a lot of guys have trouble verbalizing these things becauae we aren't taught how and a lot of us know better than to try to forfe moments like that. Its easier to compress all of it into sex or focus on that.

but its those moments leading up to it which makes it more special than a ons right?

its only natural for men to hide what they covet and women to hold anxiety that what they want might be fleeting. I guess thats really what were all afraid of isn't it?

its easy to call someone elses desires shallow because it validates the tension you feel about the work needed to attain your own. Just hubris and cowardice masquerading as depth and heiarchy.

1. Drive to nowhere

2. Eat street food

3. Look at romantic couples in public area and gossip what their romantic status are.

4. Flirt with shop owners and service persons. See who get more response.

5. Look at sunrise sunset.

6. Eat expensive food. Like hotel buffet, exotic food, sushi, etc

7. Walk to exercise.

8. Sing karaoke.

9. Gardening.

10. Watch TV together.

These are some of our favorite activities.

It would probably be making our bed in the lounge for the weekend and just watching movies all day long with cooking together in between, and trying new food.

Or escape rooms and pizza dates is normally something we really enjoy doing together, along with photo booths, and challenging each other at arcade games lol

There's a trail pretty close by me, and I used to go to it pretty often around 12am to 2am because that's when the fireflies would come out in summer. And back when I was working for my uncle in BC to help build his off grid self sustained property, I got used to it being so dark at night, you couldn't see your own hand in front of your face
