There's nothing wrong with wanting your own space and boundaries are healthy, but not wanting to even live with your partner is a huge red flag. What you're looking for isn't a relationship, but companionship whenever you feel like it.

Let me explain the difference. When you're in a relationship, it's about accomodating your partner. When they're feeling they want companionship, you should try and give it to them because you genuinely care about them. And the same goes for them. When they don't feel like socializing, they should still accommodate you when you want them around. It goes both ways. And the same concept applies to sex.

It's called having your own hobby spaces. When your partner also has a personal hobby, it makes it easier to spend time with yourself and have that time apart even if it is separate rooms. But when in love with your partner, you usually want to spend most of your time together. Living together through is like living with a roommate, you both do your parts to clean & maintain the home along with partitioning your pay for bills/rent/utilities.
