When I was younger I had a lot of people around me.
And I would have attention and love from a lot of relatives. But due to some reason, I left that home when I was just 4. It's been 21 years but I haven't recovered from the need for it.
Cause after that I had to live only on reward based life. Do something good then get the attention.
And I am starving for affection.
I don't know what I need to get over it.
It makes me feel that I am hated, unworthy, I try to win, or just don't participate.
This has now led me to believe I am just a clingy man with no look, no skill and a loser in my own view and from the world view.
I think I am just not good enough
Because I do have anyone to love me.
I want to truly change myself.

My aim on GAG is to untangle hearts, calm overthinking minds, and add a little flirting to the healing process 😏
You’re not an attention seeker, you’re touch-starved and validation-starved from childhood. That’s emotional neglect, not a character flaw. Start giving yourself what you were denied: small wins, self-praise, therapy if possible, hobbies that build skill and pride, and safe people who show consistent care.
Affection becomes less of a desperate hunger when you build inner worth. You’re not unlovable, you’re just under-loved so far.
