A true friend can be someone who knows your history.  And you're right , does not care at all , because that's not what friendships about anyway Also a true friend can be somebody that knows nothing and it is a true friend, because they can see that you're being a true friend. It has to go both ways  But it's not what a true friend knows. It's what a true friend does. When the other friend needs somebody, they will drop everything. They will be there , no matter what they will help , no matter what They ask nothing in return. They do it because they want to do it.
That's what the true friend is

Yea I believe that is true. When you care or love someone you can’t just love the good things about the person you have to love the good bad and ugly. My best friend is there for me no matter what. She will tell me when I’m wrong help me figure out where I went wrong and help me fix it and Vice versa. We’ve both done things the most people would think of as bad things or whatever but that was in our past. We’ve both been working on ourselves and came into each other’s lives when we least expected it. If that person has done things you can’t get past then that person is not for you and that’s okay.

In a way ok, but that is not what makes a true friend. That is only someone who knows you well and your history, that dose not judge you on your past only judges you on who you are as a person.

As we all are human and make mistakes and messed things up. But we learn from them and grow, that what makes us who we are

Yes. I'd also add that a true friend is the one who will tell you what needs to be told, even if you don't like it. He or she will hold a mirror up to yourself.
