Someone in high school once asked if I was the teaching assistant. I was still in school but I just said yes to see if they believed that I look that old lol. I never saw them again, so it didn't make any difference. He believed me though!

Yeah, I’ve lied about my age once or twice in my early 20s. Usually to get taken more seriously in work or to not scare off older women who thought “22” sounded like a walking red flag. It wasn’t malicious, more like insecure. Still, honesty is way sexier.
