Totally absurd to me but I guess it depends on how people choose to look at dreams. And what interpretation they want to get from them.

I view dream activity as something like a washing machine escaping regulations, where whatever thoughts I had during the last days, be they anxious or happy, get blended into something quite creative but mostly experimental in the end. I wouldn't trust the meaning of the surreal scenes happening while I sleep, instead I pay attention to emotions felt during these dreams. These feelings I'll use them to teach me something I didn't see about me, when the case applies.
