My crush and I have started a friendship and few hours ago we was on the phone for 2 hours and a half. My aunt messaged him while I was asleep. Now I’m afraid he gonna quit being my friend over the fact I like him

I’d be frustrated and annoyed with my aunt for sure, but what’s done is done and now you’ve gotta deal with the aftermath. Ultimately I feel like the goal isn’t friendship when you’ve got a crush on someone, so now that he knows how you feel, if he feels the same then you can work towards dating. If he doesn’t feel the same, I think it’s better to know sooner than later, because you may not want to do what being a friend entails. Like would you really want to be his wingman on a night out, or watch him pursue another woman? Would you want to be advising him about her? All of that sounds rather hurtful to me when you still like the person and want them for yourself.

I think I would either have a conversation with my aunt to let her know this is not okay, or alternately, I would not confide in her anymore. What she did is not okay. She prob thinks she was helping but that is not up to her w/o coordinating with you. She should know better.

That said it is done now so see how he reacts. Maybe he will show interest. If he seems weird, I guess the damage repair would be to play it off like your aunt was teasing you and it wasn't legit. JMO!

Huh, it doesn’t matter. There are basically 2 ways most guys will think in this scenario:
1. They will not take your aunt seriously and would think she is joking.
2. They may think she was for real and ask you if it is real.
How things go after that is up to you and whether he has a partner or not. But in essence, you aunt wasn’t that bad.

Most guys thinks everything older women says is a joke by the way. Because thats how they are most of the time. Or, they feel them trying to make them playing along their ploys which they do not like.

So, you are safe. Do not panic.

Your aunt is annoying. That being said, I think your crush will be happy that you like him. If he’s single, the odds are he’ll like you back. Just don’t get sexual too soon in case he’s a player. And in the unlikely event he doesn’t like you back, if he’s really your friend he won’t quit being your friend just because your aunt told him that.

if he doesn't feel the same, the friendship is over either way. What your aunt did wasn't ok but I think these things are best to rip of like a band aid. Cause the longer you keep crushing, the more devastating a rejection will be and most likely you won't be able to keep the friendship cause it hurts you too much emotionally.
