My aim on GAG is to decode emotions, patterns, and all that messy beautiful relationship stuff we secretly obsess over.

I miss 2017 the most. That was the year my daughter was a toddler, super clingy, super cute, and my wife and I were in that honeymoon-but-exhausted phase. No ghosting, no lovebombing, just diapers, cuddles, late-night movies, and feeling like we were building our little world from scratch.

I do not miss any year in my previous life because every year had good and bad things and no year had only good and if I received back the good things of that year, I would also receive back the bad things of that year.

A few years back when I was sixteen was a fun year. I got what in my state is considered an intermediate driver's license. It meant that I could drive on my own with one passenger that wasn't family and under the age of eighteen.

Basically it meant me and my best friend could go out on our own together. It was really the first taste of freedom to do stuff without mom or dad taking me.

I felt so grown up.

Looking back I guess 2008 would be the year as that was when my life made such major changes. I became the manager of the restaurant/bar that I now own and I met the man who would become my husband 18 months later.
