What do it mean when your boyfriend squeezes your neck hard/little choking?

i was hanging with my boyfriend last night he controlling and violent he in a gang and a cancer we was sitting down on the bench he just grab my neck hard squeezing it he was strong too...now my neck hurt...is he abusive if so why did he do that to me and he press on my ribs hard

Hes trying to break you down into being submissive. Once he does that its all over. he will start controlling where you go, who you talk to, force you into whatever he wants you to do. Then he will call you at all hours of the day making sure you are where you're supposed to be. Then he will want you to move in so you will be with him at all times abuse you more keep you in the house at all times so no one sees the bruises he's given you. there is really no escape from them unless you get out now! 5 1/2 years ago I got out of a relationship that started out like that.vGet out now why you can. if he says I'm sorry, don't believe it he's just trying to bring you back in with a false sense of security. it will come to a fork in the road either he will leave you alone or you would have to file a restraining order against him for your safety. even then he'd pursue you more until you were his again or a dead body in a dumpster because he can't stand the thought of another man having you. he will also attempt to sabotage any other relationships to make it seem you have any other choice to return to him. nip it in the bud.

You don't go around grabbing and squeezing your friends necks do you? I don't think you really need us to answer whether or not that's abusive. Again you don't go around pressing hard on your friends ribs do you...its not rocket science. He's no good...don't tell him bye just disappear.

u must be on the slow side if you even have to ask this. do your parents know you date? if I were your parents I wouldn't let you date because you seem to be dumb to be honest

Your actually asking why, does it not tell you that when he abuses you and deliberately hurts you means he dislikes you, but is to coward to do it to a bloke without his GANG incase of getting hurt, so he bullies you instead, your choice because its a no brainer really.

I have a question... Why are you even still with him? If he is abusive and controlling I simply suggest you leave him.
