Do men love harder than women?

What do you think of this quote? A man said it, do you agree or disagree and why

“Women don’t love harder, actually. In most marriages/serious relationships, men actually fall in love first. And, once we’re there, we stay for a very, very long time. If a person thinks that women “love harder” it’s because many women fall in love with men who can give two sh*ts about them.”

I think there's a difference between infatuated love and real love. I think,and it has been shown statistically that men fall in love more quickly (I call this infatuation though). Which is usually the start of real love. Which person loves the other more unconditionally...I think could go either way. That it happens so slowly it can't be earmarked.

Do they love harder? I want to say no. I think the bond is more charitable among men because they can't share intimacy with their male friends the way women can with their girl friends. I think there is more risks in love for men than women. As far as who loves more deeply I think really depends on the people.

Women I think are more choosy over who they live than men. And I believe this has to do with biology. Females naturally seek mates that can pass down the best genes. They are selective seeing as they can only reproduce once a year, men are not so selective because they can reproduce several times a year. This seems to hold true in my own experience and the men I've known. I have only loved twice. They guys I know have been in love 3-5 times.

I don't know if it's actually true since I am not both woman and man, but I think it's not really that men fall harder or love harder as in their love is deeper or so.. than women. It might just be that the whole "faling in love" process is more special to them because of the taboo there is around emotions and thus love for them. Men are raised in a society where they're told to be strong, to be tough, to be able to protect, the idea man is that rock his relatives and friends can depend on. I'm not saying life is easier for women but there is no taboo about us being sensitive and loving and actually expressing it so I guess in the end it results that love is a bigger deal for men than women. That's how I see it at least.

yes men love harder than women. Once men fall in love they fall hard and they love that one woman. Do keep in mind that to men love and sex don't always mean the same thing. For men we love one woman but it doesn't mean we can't have meaningless sex with all the others. While women can move from one love to another easily who they choose to have sex with is more complicated.

I can get into details of why this is but I'll just skim over it. This has a lot to do with how we were raised. For women they bond since a young age from games like tea party to play house and such with other girls. They were taught at a very young age how to get along and how to bond and express emotions. For men, as boys we are ignored by our parents. If a boy gets hurt the dad doesn't tend to him like he would for the daughter. We also were never taught about how to express emotions and how to bond. When men fall that's something special to them. To get their heart broken would be very devastating and most if not all never really get over it.

Alot of girls are ignored, or grow up fighting, are forbidden to feel-anything- & don't have tea parties.

love is special & delicate,& powerful- to anyone, who experiences it. its also wasted on a hell of a lot of people, who don't give a sh*t about it. & kept hidden, from those who respect & value it. Women& Men. its not a gender thing.

It really is different, from biological to psychological to sociological there are differences. I took this as a general question and there are differences. Now you can look at special cases where men are a little more feminine and females are a little more masculine. Those cases are rare and usually are due to biological make ups. I can talk about the differences between boys and girls biologically and sociologically from cultures to cultures but I'm lazy xD and I really hate the chara limits.

its true but its really hard for a man to fall in love, women on the other hand seem to fall more often than men and it seems not for the right reasons either. When we fell in love for somebody we fall in hard and its hard to get away it. I have fell in love twice I think, in my 24 year span and I have seen a loot of women.

Men fall in love easily than woman, Because they have a higher sex drive. And if they see a very pretty lady, they easily fall for her because they're visual creatures. That's why they fall in love first. But not necessarily harder. In a relationship. Either the man, or woman, can love each other deeply. Unlike woman. We tend to want to take things slow, and get to know a guy, before we partake into sexual activity. (Well MOST women, unlike hoes)

First of all, You should understand that people fall in love visually and emotionally. And guys usually fall in love visually than girls. Have you ever had a crush on some one? Did you know that person character/personality wise before you liked them? Or did you just see the person a couple of times and then like the person? It can go either way, People have crushes diff. That means you fell in love visual maybe because their hot/sexy wise or they may just have a good character when you met them...

.. (Continued) Love or lust however you wanna put it. Lust is one of the ways someone can fall in love. Have you ever heard a guy say � Woah, that girl�s fine� or Damn, she fine. Etc. And then their tempted to talk to the girl. Most men are really picky about what kinda woman they want to date. (visual) I hear many men say they don't want an ugly girl or a girl with certain looks. You may think people fall in love deeply by personality/character wise, but some also fall in love by looks too.
