Ladies, what age range are you attracted to?

More specifically, how much older than you, or does it matter? Is it just the physical age appearance, maturity level, or the literal age (number)? I wonder, because I often seem to attract much younger women than myself (by about ten years) even though I've been told that I myself look ten years younger than I am. But here's the thing: many of them either already KNOW that I'm much older, or they find out and yet keep on flirting! So, what gives? (Yes, I am talking about women who are of legal age: 19 - 25, usually in that range...but I'm almost 32!) I won't deny that it's flattering, but it's weird, too, because we just don't have much in common, either. :P

While I do not focus on age that much but more on the character and maturity level, I have noticed that I don't really find men my age attractive. Aside from the fact that my social circle of friends is on average 6 years older than me, I find that the guys I date are about the same age difference. The closest to my age I have ever dated was probably a 3 year difference, and even that was border line palpable for me in the long run. (for point of reference, I'm 24). Statistically though it is more common for women to be attracted to older men and older men to be attracted to younger women than dating in your own "age year"

Well I don't know why, but physically I find men around 24 - 34 the most attracive. But I understand it's more reasonable to date guys closer to my age and I don't really meet many guys that age range anyways.

For me it's appearence mostly, guys that are a b it older just seem more masculine than guys my age. After 34 it def goes downhill though. And ya they obviously tend to be more mature, people always you should go for older guys if you want a serious relationship

no to say there aren't some super 20 year olds, but on average men get more attractive around 24 - 34

I'm 20. I was going to say 18-25 but honestly, that age group (college-ish) also includes such a huge number of completely awful guys, haha. So I can understand how some young women might not be deterred at all by your age; if you seem like a civilized person, they're just like, "FINALLY."

I get flirted with more by early 20's women now then I did when I was in my 20's.

I'm not sure that -most- girls that age like older guys, but I think I'm better at being an attractive mid 30's guy then I was at being an attractive early 20's guy.

Usually guys about 20 to 25, who are in a similar place in life. It has more to do with maturity level and where they are in their lives than age. I know a 31 year old that I've flirted with but we're in two completely difference places in life and the age gap is still too obvious.

I'm 22 and currently dating a dude at age 41. Nothing wrong with that...

With that being said: My usual dating range is between 25 and 35.

Im 17 and attraction doesn't solely depend on their age but to really answer your question, I'm usually attracted to guys from about 17 to 24.

I usually date guys in my age range 44-50.. I have to be able to communicate with the person.. and I'm not good at communcating with younger men.. That's just my opinion...:-(

Here's my question for you...It's fine for now, but when you are 60 +, how do you think a 38 y.o. will feel about being with you? At 70, a 48 y.o.? or even a 50 y.o.? You'd want someone who would stay with you, right? Do you ever think about that? I mean, I do when I date a man even 10 -12yrs younger.

Good point, Debi, but bear in mind, it's usually the husband who passes away first, so if you were to marry a younger guy, you'd be less likely to be widowed on your own, at least not for very long.
