Do guys actually prefer girls who don't wear revealing clothes?

I´m going to admit that I am a very good looking girl. However, I don´t know if I qualify as "sexy". I love to dress up, do my hair and my make up (though very little) and my favorite clothes are feminine dresses, blouses, girlie skirts and t shirts. I also love everything about the 60s and I tend to wear cute little colorful dresses.

However, I can´t bring myself to wear tight jeans that show off my ass, or high heels with miniskirts, or huge cleavages and things like that. I´m fine with this because I actually prefer to be thought of as "cute" or "elegant" or "ladylike" instead of "hot" or "sexy".

What I´ve been wondering lately is why guys notice me A LOT on the street even if I´m not wearing revealing clothing and I don´t have killer curves (I have a Kate Moss type of body minus the diet and drugs) and whenever a girl who is dressed in revealing clothing sometimes gets no attention at all.

Do guys actually prefer girls who cover up?

I love old fashioned garb, I also like to cover my goodies as well.

It could be that when you wear the clothes that makes you feel so classy and cute you start to become classy and cute, "you look the way you feel."

It's way better than having a shy worried look on your face while pulling your booty shorts down every 5 secs.

Too many girls use the "slut" thing as a defense mechanism as a way to defend their bad taste and uptight style.

Dressing like Jackie O isn't considered desirable; but dressing like a stripper isn't typically seen as desirable(as girlfriend material) either

They like revealing clothes in a classy way. So, showing skin for a glimpse look, knowing there's more underneath. Hmm, how do I word it... it's better to show skin just enough not to show skin.

it is enough for a young woman to attract guys by the way she acts,moves,talks,walks, scents, facial features or the clothes she wears do not necessarily have to be revealing sometimes a little conservative dress like may even have a stronger attraction because it lends to imagination.

I like fairly revealing but ... A normal skirt is as hot as tight jeans.

I don`t like too revealing actually...I prefer girls who cover up but fairly revealing sometimes is good depending on the ocasion,there has to be a balance.I think a good looking face and a nice personality everything

You certainly do not need to dress in a revealing style to project desirability. A good aura and soul is the ultimate attractant.

I don't find it attractive when men who try too hard to look feashionable, or walk around topless lol.
