How to make my boyfriend more dominant in bed?

Hello! I've been with my boyfriend for two years and were in love and everything. I'm a naturally small built person with medium sized breasts and a petite butt. Both of us are 20. He's got some muscle and we do a little light bondage together. Stuff like using ropes or scarves to tye hands and/or ankles to bedframe, blindfolds, a little smack here and there, but nothing painful or S&M. However, I am usually the one tied up, and he's always afraid of hurting me which I find really nice but I want him to be more aggressive in bed. He's not aggressive or dominant outside of the bed which is nice because we're really close and snuggle a lot, ect. But when I'm tied up and vulnerable on the bed, he's super careful and is too gentle, I love him being gentle but not now. I want him to be dominant and take ahold of me and do what HE wants to me, but every time I tell him he says he's afraid to hurt me. I'm not cheating on him so please don't suggest that. When he's being tied up, he likes it rough and for me to be super in control and smack him when he moves and all that, but he's so gentle during bondage with me! What should I do? I want him to take advantage of me being vulnerable and tied to a bed or not being able to see? Help! What do I do or say to him?!
