Do you like this bodycon dress or am I told old for it?

Hi,

I need some advice. I love this bodycon dress, but I don't normally wear bodycons or dress up that much. I love the color, but am afraid this is kindof slutty & that I'm too old to wear this :(. I'm 30 in June, so I wonder if short & tight is something I should give up.

I'd wear it maybe with gold hoops ... not sure the type of shoes. My body is like this: 5'5 / 130 lb. Hourglass, so it might look okay. I'd wear it out for a night on the town ... that sort of thing. What do you think? Please be honest & if you don't like it, tell me why. I've actually gotten great fashion advice on this site before. thanks!

Not a big fan of the dress to be honest and its more casual than night out. I'm 31 and often have the same dilemma, "am I too old for this". Something's are definitely more suited to being in your 20's but just because you're in your 30's doesn't mean you have to dress like an old nana either. If it suits you, if you're comfortable in it, then wear it.

Age shouldn't be a factor of how you dress. How you FEEL you look in it should.

I've been told by MUCH older women, the last thing you think on your death bed, is "I shouldn't have worn that dress in my 30's"

you're only too old if you let yourself think you're too old. but I think it's more of a casual look,more suited for day,than a night on the town

This is indeed a young look and at 30 you'll look like you're trying to turn back the clock. What might look cute at 18 would look aggressive at 30.

It's not the short and tight part,but the leotard sort of cut of the dress that makes it look 'young.' You could still do short and tight, in general!

I had no idea what a bodycon was until I saw the images.

This dress doesn't really look like something you would wear on a night out, it seems more something you'd wear to a swimming pool, the beach or just casual.

form your measurements I think you would look good, wear it with heels so you can dress it up a little bit

if you have the body go for it, you will look really well

what makes it slutty is with what you pair it with, you can wear some really cool heels and a little jacket with it and you would look perfect

I've seen women of all ages wear bodycon dresses so I don't think it matters that much. The only thing is if you feel like you'll look slutty, you might feel uncomfortable wearing something so tight. But maybe you could wear it with a cute jacket.

You're still young so why not. Believe me you're not too old at all for that dress. I am of course, but you are definitely not.

it's aight...and, you can pull it off up until you're about 55 (and even 55 is pushing it). My rule is, if you wouldn't want to see your grandparents in it, then it's probably OK to wear
