The Two Doves of Conscience

Jesus referred to the pharisees as a wicked and treacherous generation

And it’s not because they were doing evil

It’s because they were looking for the evil in others

It’s not enough to do good things for God

You also have to see the good divine spark your creator has put in others

Because if you look for evil in others when the evil in your own life has been driven out, you will become seven times evil than you were before

The kingdom of God is not an athletic competition where you try to outdo each other for status upgrades and praise

Its an intimate affinity between yourself, others and God built on the idea of cooperative understanding, teamwork, inclusion, affection and love done to nourish your health and the health of others

This is why God landed in the shape of a dove, and not in the shape of a raven or ostrich.

I feel a little sheepish that the doves almost seem to be crushing each other or the doves are being naughty. I feel very perplexed but I appreciate your overall message of Jesus. Doves or no doves.
