If jesus was Jewish then why is Christianity and Judeism different types of religion

Jesus provided a new dispensation for forgiveness of sins.
*The old one, given that sinlessness was impossible, was to blood sacrifice innocent animals (Leviticus 16).
*G0d chose, in His capacity to take multiple forms, to send Himself to us as both fully G0d and fully Man (Jesus) to make the ultimate and final blood sacrifice to atone for all sins, past, present and future of those who accept Him as Savior and confess and repent of those sins and ask for forgiveness. If our hearts are pure (He can tell), our sins are forgiven.
*My (biased) view is that Christianity is mainline Judaism and the 15 million or so Jews in the world didn't believe the memo. That is why it is the duty of Evangelicals like me to witness to them by word and deed and try to bring them to Jesus. Christians of the past who hated Jews committed a grave sin.

Except that contradicts the Old Testament, "God is not a man... neither the Son of Man..." (Numbers 23:`19)

The entire purpose of the New Testament is the claim that Jesus was God in the Flesh and his death and resurrection (alleged) was necesary to forgive sins. Both of these claims are refuted by a cursory reading of Numbers and Ezekiel.

in Numbers, "God is not a man" and in Ezekiel God forgives according ot your GOOD WORKS, not your profession of faith.

God is in fact Almighty and an Almighty Being does not need a blood sacrifice to forgive sins. An Almighty Being can simply THINK forgiveness into existence, and forgiveness does not violate the Righteousness of God, as no attribute of God can in any way violate any other attribute of God. God is a singular Being and does not contradict himself in any way.

So when the Prophet Balaam said "God is not a man" he did not stutter, God is not a man, and that means Jesus of Nazareth was a false prophet, and that means all of the New Testament authors were false prophets.

Global Warming is real, and it's happening faster than any other time in the geological record... and ALL natural causes have been ruled out. So it must be caused by man-made Greenhouse Gases.

Good question. First of all you need to know the Judaism that is practiced by the current "Jews" isn't the same Judaism that was practiced in the old testament. Totally different.

Secondly, Judaism and the law doesn't save but rather exposes and condemns you as a sinful man and woman who need a savior who is Jesus Christ to save by His grace.

The key difference is the law judges you as guilty before God since we all have sinned.

The gospel through the finished work of Christ on the cross offers grace and salvation.

The three Abrahamic faiths are Islam, Judaism and Christianity. With Judaism and Islam being closer than either is to Christianity.

The reason being that Islam and Judaism were setup and followed by prophets. Whereas Christianity was not setup or followed by Jesus or his half brothers.

But all three have the same prophets, and draw towards monotheism.

I'm not religious but I was raised catholic. Basically, yes he was Jewish because he was literally the prophet to start Judaism. Also the Jews hated him enough to kill him, so I'd think that's a good reason as to why they are separated.

They aren't, at least as far as he's concerned. They are both closely related, and they are more similar than they are different in most respects. There are different religions within both Judaism and Christianity.

you're completely right. jesus and the abrahamic god idea is generally a religion particularly tailored for the people of todays israels. jews. so really to me it makes no sense that christianity even exists.

Not even ethnically. The real Jews were desert people and slaves in Egypt for 400 years. The original Hebrews were Asians living in the Middle East that would look like the typical Arab, not blonde hair and blue eyes from Poland like the so called Jews of today.

All that matters is that Traditional Christianity is the One True Faith. Judaism is just another false religion.
