That speaking in tongues blah blah woo woo la la mumble jumble isn't Biblical.
Speaking in tongues is speaking in other's people languages.
God did a miracle through the Holy Spirit in the book of Acts through Christians that suddenly they could speak in other languages to give the people that were there the gospel in their native language so they could be saved.
Yeah but lotta modern churches use it as a measuring stick as to whether you're fully filled with da big ghost. Religion is weird, man.
@xColinx: They don't read or don't understand the Bible then.
@xColinx absolutely!!! Stay away from “religion”
Anyone who wants to can "speak in tongues". It's just bad acting. It never sounds like actual speech.
If you listen to a conversation in a foreign language, you may not be able to understand it, but you can tell that it's a conversation. If you listen to someone "speaking in tongues", it's just repetitive blah-blah-blah.
