+1 yNeither are correct, but technically Islam much more closely obeys the Old Testament, while Christianity contradicts the Old Testament, well, Pauline Doctrine of "Justification by Faith" (Without the Works of the Law) definitely contradicts the Old Testament.
Moreover, Jesus did not teach any such thing. Jesus said "Not one Jot or Tittle shall in any wise pass away from the Law, Until ALL THINGS are fulfilled."
And in the giving of the original Covenant, it states TWO things that Christianity contradicts:
1) God will NEVER destroy humans nor all life on Earth ever again by any means (Genesis 8). Therefore the Book of Revelation is a false book and Matthew chapter 24 is a false prophecy too.
2) The ORIGINAL Covenant is eternal "To Perpetual Generations" (Genesis 9:11) and will NEVER be done away with, so even if there ever was a "New Covenant" the Old Covenant CANNOT be amended and sure as hell CANNOT be replaced. Therefore both Jesus and Paul were wrong and RIDICULOUS when they said the Old Covenant would be done away with.
3) The Law of God does not change just as the laws of the Universe do not change (Copernicus) and the Prophet Ezekiel said the only way to be forgiven is to do good works and keep doing good works. If a righteous man does evil, God chooses to forget his good works. If an evil man does good, God forgives him and chooses to forget his evil works. So the Old Testament teaches JUSTIFICATION BY GOOD WORKS. Pauline Doctrine teaches "Justification by Faith, WITHOUT the Works of the Law," which again is completely wrong and ridiculous and IMMORAL. If God forgave a murderer just because he CLAIMED to repent and believe in Jesus, without some evidence of good works according to the Law of God, then that would not be justice and would not be valid forgiveness. That's INSANE.00 Reply

+1 yThey are both religions created by humans to answer unanswerable questions. Neither one is good or bad or better than the other. They are just as "good" or "bad" as the people who created them and continue to change the way it is practiced through their own personal beliefs.
the Bible has not really changed a whole lot, though there are different versions. What changes is the way people choose to interpret it, in order for it to fit their own personal beliefs. It is written in a vague way with many conflicting authors and statements so whoever wants to can find support for their beliefs whether that is homophobia, vegetarianism, death penalty, pro life, pro choice, whatever. It's all up to interpretation. Same thing for the Quaran12 Reply- +1 y
Do you have a religion?
- +1 y
@DONKHALIL2813 I am agnostic. My "religion"/spirituality would probably be best described as somewhat Buddhist (though not Buddhist, just similar thought), with some variations on the ideas about illusions.
+1 yNone of them are correct, it's just a tactic to divide us and conquer us. Also it makes us scared of bad behaviour.

@Warmapplecrumble is correct! Just look at that iron junk's comment. He thinks Christianity is the only true trash. On the other hand, Muslims think Islam is the only true trash. This creates divide. Islam was created by a warlord to rule the Middle East and rape women of his liking. He did this by telling men that they will get 72 virgins if they kill for him. Christianity was created by a dead guy.

@Twenty2 I'm happy 😊 you understand, we should stop grouping ourselves and come together rather than be separated. That's the only difference between the ones who rule us, and us.

True! You know recently I saw a girl on here who is suffering from OCD and I told her that Yoga/Meditation will help her control this and I showed her study too. news.yale.edu/.../improve-students-mental-health-yale-study-finds-teach-them-breathe Her response was that she's not going to do it because it's against her faith (she is a Jew) then she said that doing yoga will lead her to join a cult. Like wtf! She's okay with OCD but not okay with doing yoga because her "god" says so.

@hknmhmn4 yes that's true but we must not look at differences but concentrate on our similarities. We all have something in common.
Asker+1 y@Twenty2 There is never, ever, rape in Islam. This is not true
Asker+1 y@ Twenty2 Please don't be disrespectful. I am not ignorant, I know Islam very well. There is never rape. You should investigate. Rape is one of the biggest sins. The rape muslim is not the real muslim

Sex slave for men
• https://quran.com/4/24
Apparantly, a Muslim man can have sex slaves. Pretty sure the woman (who these Muslim men consider slave) don't give consent to being fucked. On the topic of consent, a Muslim wife is to be fucked however and whenever her husband wishes to fuck her https://quran.com/2/223 she has no right to decline because she is nothing but tilth. And if she by any chance declines then the husband can beat her https://quran.com/2/223 because beating wife is halal. This is the beauty of Islam.
Asker+1 y@Twenty2 I'm very sorry. These are not true. Honestly, it saddens me that non-Muslim people think this way. Those who do what you say are sinners. A true muslim person does not do this, he cannot
Asker+1 yPlease, I'm not lying. Islam loves women very much.

Aren't there different versions of Islam?
Asker+1 yNo :). Islam advocates only one truth. And anyone who founded it failed to overthrow A true Muslim is loyal to the Quran. :) I love my religion
- +1 y
@asker why did you ask the question?
Asker+1 ya true muslim. He reads the Quran. and implements. Islam is a religion of peace. Does not contain fighting and swearing :)
Asker+1 y@Twenty2 No. Never. Our religion wants love and peace.

AHH I see I understand now 🙂 @asker
Asker+1 y@Twenty2 Be sure. I know more about Islam than you do. Have you listened to the Quran?
Asker+1 y@Twenty2 OK. It is certain that the thing you will throw is not the Quran.
Asker+1 y@Twenty2 You tired me. Believe that Islam is really beautiful.. You do not like Islam. But try looking a little more positive. I say again. Islam = happiness
Asker+1 y@Twenty2 You are a really difficult person. I tried to politely explain to you. But you don't want to understand. Islam does not have these! Lie! Please understand now. 😔

Asker+1 y@Twenty2 What he means here is "the woman he is married to". The person you marry becomes your "lawful". . You misunderstand.
Asker+1 y@Twenty2 are you serious? I remind you that the founder is a book downloaded 1400 years ago. Then there was slavery. Are you really asking that? The Quran always speaks good. "Read properly" if you want the Quran.
- +1 y
"I remind you that the founder is a book downloaded 1400 years ago." So you're saying that after 1400 years Islam has changed? So considering that it has changed, is it really true anymore? Plus, you still haven't replied to the killing quote. Or the part where it's okay to beat wife and the part where you can fuck the wife whenever you want evenif she doesn't wanna have sex.

+1 yLet's use logic and reason, ok? Now, everyone agrees that there is only one God right? Therefore He must have only one plan (religion) for the human family to follow... would anyone agree? Because we who can afford to be honest, would agree that God is not the author of confusion. So, what is God's religion? Simple... total submission to His will.

Anonymous(30-35)+1 yBoth are full of shit and madeup. How can slavery be allowed and normalised in a true religion? Though islam is much worse. Beating women as a solution to family conflicts, men can take 4 wives, countless number of concubines. How can sex slavery be justified in your opinion? Quran became a book too many years later. All religious people are bunch of morons.

Opinion Owner+1 yI saw your comment about rape lol. Having concubines mean RAPE. It is allowed in your religion. You think a woman slave that you just killed her husband wants to have sex with her husband’s murderer? It’s rape. It’s what your prophet did. There is no verse for crime and punishment for rape in Quran either. I am not even mention marital rape, islam is too far from a civilised law. Buuut don’t eat pork lmao it was so important to mention, not banning slavery, rape, poligamy, looting...

Me too, you live in the UK anyway I dont know how the churches work there but today’s churches seem really corrupt and they left their own real purpose therefore most Christians don’t like them. You can worship/pray for God everywhere, not at church only... and helping homeless person is really an important thing of belief 😇
Asker+1 yI respect you :). But the Quran was not written by a human 😔. There is a very heavy literary language. Sometimes even a muslim cannot understand :). A human could not have written this. And it's the only book that never changes :)
Asker+1 yAnd the things he says are always true

Asker+1 yLearn the religion of Islam. But my suggestion to you is if you want to find the true religion of Islam, talk to Muslims. There is a huge lie, thank you :)
Asker+1 yHonestly, I was surprised. No such thing. The religion of Islam looks like a bad religion. But wrong. Killing people is a great sin in Islam. Cursing, yelling, lying and more...

How dare you speak the truth? @OfDeath don't you know Islam is the religion of peace? https://youtu.be/mqU2DzmaPCg watch this video to know more (serious you should watch it xD)

Lmfao 😂😂 this Muslim woman doesn't know Islam at all LoL https://youtu.be/yfqduwXVSgQ watch this. This is Islam, anon.
Asker+1 y@Twenty2 I don't know? Funny. So funny. Islamic religion does not support them. I know my religion very well. They're lying to you. Open your eyes. I don't want to be rude to anyone 😔
Asker+1 y@Twenty2 I'll tell you something. 95% of Muslims do not follow their religion. Satan drives people to evil. I am also a veiled person and I do not be rude to anyone. But Islam advocates only one truth.
Asker+1 y@Twenty2 I can tell you this. The world is a very bad place. Not all information is correct. I'm trying to tell you this. True Muslims cannot hit anyone! :)
Asker+1 y@Twenty2 the verse you wrote, the 5th sura? I looked. 😂 What he meant there is "don't kill people".
- +1 y
5:32 - Because of that, We decreed upon the Children of Israel that whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption [done] in the land - it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one - it is as if he had saved mankind entirely. And our messengers had certainly come to them with clear proofs. Then indeed many of them, [even] after that, throughout the land, were transgressors.
5:33 - Indeed, the penalty for those who wage war against Allah and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world; and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment.
Read the verse 5:33, it talks about corruption. What is this corruption? This corruption is the corruption to the Islam. So if anyone doesn't live by Islam in dar Al Islam, he must be killed.
